I didn't want the usual shape or lovey dovey Valentines that are available.

Keira has come to expect that I make cards for her classmates for the holidays. I kind of like that she likes my handmade cards!

This year, I decided to go cutesy! (I think!)

I used the Sizzix cupcake die to cut the cupcakes out of white cardstock. I then took two different pink cardstocks for the frosting and a red cardstock for the "liner". The cupcake die comes with a cherry to put on top, but I thought the heart looked nice for Valentine's Day! I covered each heart with Wink of Stella glitter and then gave them a dose of Glossy Accents. I also used a mix match of stamps for the sentiments. The "you're sweet is from Lawn Fawn, "Happy Valentine's Day  is from Fresh Squeezed Stamps, and the "to, From" is from a Recollections stamp set.

Phew! Are you still with me?

Keira loves them and that is really all that matters to me! I hope she always loves the cards I make for her and her classmates!

I have really been trying to set aside time to craft more.

I have made a few Valentines cards, Keira's class Valentines, bookmarks for Keira's class to go with her Valentines (which I will share this week), and a little love countdown for Keira to count down the days to Valentine's day.

I used a the new Whale you be mine from Lawn Fawn. I love Lawn Fawn's mini stamp sets!

I didn't want a lot of fuss on this card, so I went clean and simple.

I am really feeling under the weather this week. Keira was sick this past weekend, and I think she decided to share it with me.

I had the idea for this card in my head for over a week when I finally took some time this weekend to create it! 

I used the stamp set Feathered Friends from Lawn Fawn along with Finley's ABCs. The wire in the set made for my garland and the exclamation mark made a great hanger for the heart from this set!

Those two little birds are just adorable!

I added some Wink of Stella glitter to the red hearts and the sentiment. I die cut a few layers of the sentiment in white to pop up behind the red layer to give the sentiment a little more something.

First off, Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season! We took it very relaxed this year. We had a quiet Christmas and New Year. It felt great to not have to rush to do anything! 

It seemed like as soon as the new year came, I was ready to hop into crafting for Valentine's Day. I have already finished Keira's class Valentines, made a couple of cards, and made Keira a count down of love notes (which I showed a little sneak peek of on Instagram)!

Here is one of the cards I made. 

I just couldn't put this Yeti stamp set away yet! I added some Wink of Stella to the large heart and to the the little Yeti hearts. Some clear Stickles to accent the snowy hills!

I can't wait to craft more this week! Keira has said that she needs to make some Valentine cards to send out, so we will be doing that this weekend.

I finished Keira's class Christmas cards this weekend! I will share those later this week. I still haven't decided what she will be giving her classmates. Any ideas?

I have had a rough week and need to just relax and maybe do some crafting.

I could finally make it down the stairs to my craft space yesterday and made the most of my time there. I rocked out 4 cards! I am so excited to go back down this weekend!

I love the holiday season! I love the smells, the sounds, the decorations! I love everything about it! 

After Keira competes this weekend, I think I will really get into creating mode. Although I usually do my best work in the 3-4 weeks before Christmas!

I have some handmade gifts to make still and more cards as well. Here is a card a made over the weekend.

Saturday nights lately have been me watching a movie while colouring and fussy cutting images. I love it!

I picked up this Inky Antics stamp set from Michaels a couple of weeks ago on liquidation for $3. I love the snowmen in this set. As soon as I saw this snowman, I knew I wanted him holding a sentiment.

I stacked a few of the Scripty Joy die cuts to add dimension. I also put foam adhesive on the snowman and one of the snowy hills. Add a little Wink of Stella to the Joy, his hat, and scarf, along with some clear Stickles on his hat and snowy hills for some glitter effects. I am loving all the glitter I have been seeing on holiday cards lately!

I am trying to get a head start on my holiday crafting this year. I have already made a few cards, but I need to get a move on! I think this weekend is going to be a crafty one! I just have to get through a rock concert tomorrow night and a day of Irish dance practices on Saturday! Wish me luck!

I am also loving the Forest Border die. I want to put it on everything!

I am hoping to get a few more holiday cards made this weekend and maybe Keira's class cards finished.

Happy Halloween!

I made some goodie bags for Keira's class. I used the new Lawn Fawn Goodie Bag die to cut them all out. It made my job sooo much easier.

I then used some stamps from my stash to add a little something to them.

I stamped all the owls and speech bubbles one afternoon, and then fussy cut them all one night after work. 

Keira and I have been doing some card making together. She is in love with stamps and die cutting! 

When I mentioned to her that we should send out some Thanksgiving cards, she started planning what she wanted to put on her cards. She has great ideas!

This is her first card she made. It is hard to tell from the photo, but the corn, turkey drumstick and pie are all covered in Wink of Stella glitter.

Keira absolutely loves Lawn Fawn stamps! Who doesn't!

When she came up with this next card, I asked her if she was sure...She said " Of course Mom! Who doesn't love those cute yetis!"
