I hope everyone is having a great summer so far!
July was a whirlwind and relaxing at the same time! Keira and I went to Rhode Island for the North American Championship, where she did a fantastic job! I am a super proud momma!
When we came home, hubby and I were on vacation for another week, along with my two step-daughters. We really took it easy and just relaxed. It felt great not to rush!
I have been getting in some crafty time and getting some new goodies to play with!
Hubby's aunt and uncle celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary recently, so I just had to make a card for them!

I just love these little birds from Lawn Fawn! I sprayed the card base with a pink mist and layered on a piece of vellum. I die cut the banner using Lawn Fawn's Stitched Hillside Borders dies and then heat embossed the sentiment in gold. I also die cut a bunch of different hearts from Lawn Fawn's Hearts dies and covered them in clear Wink of Stella glitter.
I popped everything but the vellum up using foam tape to give the card a little dimension. Obviously I forgot to take photos before I wrote in the card! Happens more than you think!
Thanks for hanging in with me through my absence! Have a great Monday!
