I finally have some time to post about Keira's strawberry party! Summer schedule has us so relaxed and not in a hurry to do anything.
Since the end of school, we have had a lot of rain. Hubby and I had 1 week vacation at the end of June, and we had rain pretty much every day! It is no fun with 3 kids!
Oh well, onto the party!

I printed out little booklets for the girls that they could colour, but also taught them about the process of planting, growing and caring for strawberries. The last page of the booklet was a strawberry word search. They all had a blast putting their stamp on the farmer!
What party would be complete without cake? Double chocolate fudge cupcakes with strawberry buttercream icing! Heaven! My stepdaughters have asked me to make this icing for them again! They couldn't get enough of it!
I also created a bingo game for the girls to play. The bingo cards were in the shape of canning jars and the markers were strawberries that I covered with glossy accents. I also die cut the calling numbers into mini canning jars.

I laminated the bingo cards so that they will last longer. Keira and I like to play bingo sometimes, this just adds an extra type to our collection. I have not quite decided yet if I want to die cut the little canning jar lids to put on the calling numbers or leave them as is.
And of course, each little girl left with their favour baskets.

Hope you enjoyed Keira's Strawberry Bash!
Now, I am off to craft for a superhero party for next weekend!
