Last week, I gave you a little sneak peek. Well, here I am to explain it!
About a week and a half ago, the receptionist at hubby's work asks if I would do a special order for her. I say "sure, when do you need it by?".(Keep in mind that this is Thursday afternoon) She says for next Tuesday...Let the chocolate making begin!
I researched where I could get the right chocolate mold that she wanted and went to pick it up on Saturday morning. I had my hands in chocolate making all Saturday evening. She needed 50 chocolates for her sister's 30th birthday party! Bagged and tagged!
Thank goodness for husbands that don't mind helping! I had my own personal chocolate stirrer! He was a great help!

She wanted the "30" to stand out and match with the decorations of the party. Sooo, I painted each number into the little recessed part of the mold, let that cool and then filled with milk chocolate. She loved them! Yay!
Add 50 little scalloped tags.
And 50 labels for the back of the chocolates.
You get 50 individually wrapped chocolates ready to be given as party favors!
Everyone was happy with them, especially the birthday girl and her sister!
On a different note, this past weekend, I made myself a list of things that I need to get done or started before the end of this month. Things like Christmas cards, a free printable Letter to Santa (coming soon), and my invitations for Christmas Eve, to say but a few. I'm happy to say that I got a few things crossed off of my list! Yay me!
I already had a couple of Christmas cards made, but my friend Elena had posted that she already had around 15 made! She is my hero! I just had to go play this weekend and made a few more cards. My plan is to make at least a few every week and I will be ready in no time.
Sorry for the long post. Have a great day!
