Sorry for the long absence! Between being sick and trying to get things organized for Christmas and winter...Let's just say that I am pooped!
I still have quite a bit of sewing to do over the next couple of weeks for some Christmas gifts. I will share a few with you before the big day and a few afterwards. I don't need my step-daughters seeing what they are getting!
This past weekend, my oldest step-daughter asked me to show her how to make a barrette. Needless to say that her younger sister claimed the barrette when the glue wasn't even dry yet! LOL!

Just ignore the doll helping me pose, my model was at school! My daughter is infatuated with Lalaloopsy dolls!
I cut the snowflakes out with my die-cut machine and hot glued them onto the ribbon covered barrette. Keira was very happy with her new barrette for winter! My step-daughters will be making some new barrettes themselves next weekend. I will show you a few pictures of their creations afterwards.
Have a good rest of the week and I will be back on the weekend with some Christmas cards!
