I love Wednesdays! It means we are even closer to Friday and the weekend!
I hope everyone is having a good week so far. I am not liking the weather forecast for the end of the week, but that just means I can stay in the house and get some crafting done!
I put the finishing touches on Keira's birthday invitations on Sunday. I am so ahead of schedule with crafting for her party! Normally I am scrambling the week before her party to get everything done. I am trying really hard this year to be ahead of schedule on party prep! I will give you a little sneak peek of her party next week!
Just before Easter, I went to Keira's class and did a little craft with them. This was the second time I have crafted with them. They are always calling"Miss Karen, come see what I did!". They are so cute. You really get a chance to see all the different aspects of what you introduced to them. Here is a picture of what I brought them.

Hubby die cut all the baskets on my Big Shot while I hot glued them together. I had gone shopping in Plattsburgh the week before, and I found the cute Easter foam stickers for them to decorate their baskets with. They loved it!
I also used the same idea that I had done for Keira's class Valentine's last year for her Easter treats, with a little twist.

I embossed the "carrot" with little dots, attached some green cardstock as the carrot leaves and ran the tops through my crimper. The kids and teachers loved them!
Well, I am off to figure out an idea for my "Mommy" party I am have next month. I have to get my invites made and sent out within the next 2 weeks!
Have a great weekend and I will be back next week with a sneak peak of Keira's party!
